◅ About Us ▻

Most people don’t land here casually.

Something has likely been building—maybe slowly, maybe all at once—and at some point it becomes clear that what’s been happening isn’t going to resolve on its own.

You may have tried to navigate it already. Had conversations. Looked for direction. Tried to hold things together the best you could.

And at a certain point, it just becomes clear—something needs to shift.

◅ Forged in Recovery

Guided by Experience | Driven by Compassion

Renewed Family Connections was built from lived experience, not theory.

Our work has always centered around individuals and families navigating mental health and substance use challenges—not just in structured environments, but in the day-to-day moments where things either begin to stabilize or continue to unravel.

Over time, one thing became clear: there is often a gap between care and real life.

People leave programs with insight, but not always with structure. Families are given guidance, but not always with the support needed to carry it out. And too often, everyone involved is left trying to make sense of things while situations continue to evolve.

Renewed Family Connections was created to step into that space—with a steady, grounded presence that helps bring clarity, structure, and direction when it’s needed most.

How We Work ▻

Grounded in Gratitude | Honed by Empathy

Our approach is built around the understanding that no two situations are the same—and that real progress doesn’t come from forcing a model onto someone’s life.

We work directly with individuals and families in the environments where things are actually happening. Sometimes that means helping navigate complex mental health dynamics. Other times, it means stepping into substance use situations where stability has become uncertain. Most often, it’s a combination of both.

We stay involved in a way that is steady and responsive—helping create structure, support follow-through, and adjust as situations evolve.

When appropriate, we coordinate with outside providers and bring additional support into place—but we remain focused on what’s happening in real time, not just what’s been outlined on paper.

The goal is not perfection. It’s progress that is grounded, consistent, and able to hold.

◅ Meet Our Team ▻

Seth Dahle M.S, LPCC, LADC
Director of Clinical Services

Seth brings years of experience working with individuals and families navigating mental health and substance use challenges. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), with a background that includes leading family programming in residential treatment and working in settings that integrate individual and family support.

His work is grounded in both professional training and personal experience in recovery—giving him a perspective that is steady, clear, and deeply attuned to how complex these situations can be.

Seth has a rare ability to make sense of things that often feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to put into words. He listens closely, sees patterns quickly, and helps people understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface—often within moments of meeting them.

(He would never say this himself, but I am writing these bios and it’s my rules)

He has a natural way of helping people feel seen without being exposed, and understood without being judged. That clarity creates space for real movement—both for individuals and for families trying to find their footing again.

Seth approaches his work with patience, curiosity, and a deep respect for the process of change. He doesn’t force outcomes or rush decisions—instead, he helps people slow things down, see themselves more clearly, and move forward in a way that is both grounded and sustainable.

His presence tends to bring a sense of calm and direction to situations that would otherwise feel chaotic—helping people reconnect with who they are underneath everything they’ve been carrying.

Outside of his work, Seth values time with family and staying grounded in the same principles he brings into the work each day.

Patrick Rybarczyk MC (IL, inactive)
Director of Family Services & Operations

Patrick’s path into this work didn’t start in an office—it started in his own life, in the middle of challenges that many of the people he now supports know all too well.

Growing up as the oldest of fourteen, he learned early what responsibility, pressure, and showing up for others actually looks like. He went on to build and sell a successful construction company, developing a mindset rooted in action, problem-solving, and accountability—long before stepping into the mental health and substance use space.

After relocating to Minnesota, Patrick led the development of a program designed to support individuals and families navigating mental health and substance use challenges. That experience made one thing clear—there was a gap between what people were being told to do and what real life actually required.

Renewed Family Connections was built out of that realization.

Today, Patrick works across nearly every layer of the organization—supporting families, working directly with individuals, coordinating care, and building the structure behind the scenes. He approaches this work with responsibility and humility—never losing sight of the trust it takes for someone to let you into one of the hardest seasons of their life.

To him, this work is not theoretical. It’s lived.

It’s shaped by personal loss, by the reality of what happens when mental health and substance use go untreated, and by a commitment that goes beyond a role or title. This work is something he carries with him—as both a responsibility and a quiet form of reverence.

He meets people with directness—and with dignity. Every individual and every family deserves to be seen, heard, and respected, no matter how far things may have gone.

Patrick works especially well in complex situations that require both structure and adaptability—where families need clarity, individuals need accountability, and everything in between needs to be held together in a way that actually works in real life.

He doesn’t overcomplicate things—but he doesn’t look away from them either.

There is a steady sense of gratitude in how he shows up—grateful to do the work, to be trusted with it, and to stand alongside people as they find their way forward.

Outside of his work, Patrick is a husband and father. He values presence, consistency, and showing up for what matters—carrying those same principles into both his life and the work he does every day.

Daniel Livermore BA
Director of Crisis Services & Chief Interventionist

Daniel’s path into this work is deeply personal. Growing up in Chicago, he experienced firsthand the impact of mental health and addiction—moving through multiple levels of care and gaining an early understanding of what helps, and what often falls short.

After years of struggle and the kind of consequences that force a turning point, he reached a place where he was willing to do whatever it took to change. That decision became the foundation for everything that followed—and the reason he now does this work.

Over the past several years, Daniel has led and supported hundreds of interventions while overseeing teams providing care for individuals facing both substance use and complex mental health challenges. His work has expanded beyond traditional approaches, particularly in situations involving acute symptoms such as psychosis, mania, and severe instability—where a different level of understanding, patience, and precision is required.

Daniel brings a steady presence and clear direction into situations that often feel overwhelming. He helps families make sense of what’s happening, what needs to happen next, and how to move forward when things feel uncertain.

To him, this work is Sacred.

He shows up fully—for the individual, for the family, and for the situation as a whole. Whether that means late nights, difficult conversations, or walking alongside a family through one of the hardest moments of their lives, he does not step away.

He meets people where they are, stands with them in the reality of what they’re facing, and helps guide a path forward—without losing sight of the fact that no one should have to do this alone.

Daniel works especially well in high-acuity situations where families feel like they’ve exhausted every option. He brings structure, clarity, and a level of steadiness that gives people something real to hold onto when everything else feels uncertain.

He knows what it’s like to be on the other side of this—and carries that perspective into every situation, with a belief that no one is beyond help.

Outside of his work, Daniel is a husband and father of three, and values time with his family and the life he’s built. His world includes a full house—dogs, pigs, chickens, and everything in between—and he brings that same care and presence into the work he does each day.

Kelsey Rybarczyk BA
Administrative Coordinator

Kelsey plays a central role in keeping Renewed Family Connections steady, organized, and moving forward day to day. She works closely behind the scenes to support communication, coordination, and the many details that allow each situation to be handled with care and intention. Her ability to stay consistent and attentive helps create a sense of stability for both the team and the families we work with.

Originally from Illinois, Kelsey earned her degree in Biology before relocating to Minnesota, where she began her own journey in recovery. That experience continues to shape how she shows up—bringing a level of empathy, understanding, and perspective that goes beyond the surface. She understands how overwhelming things can feel, both for individuals and for the people around them, and carries that awareness into her work each day.

She is currently continuing her education in mental health counseling, with a focus on expanding her ability to support individuals and families navigating both mental health and substance use challenges. Her intention is to continue growing in a way that allows her to show up more fully for the people she works with.

Kelsey approaches her work with thoughtfulness, consistency, and a genuine care for the people behind each case. She values clear communication, follow-through, and the small details that often make the biggest difference. Whether supporting the team or helping coordinate with families, she brings a steady and reliable presence to every situation.

Outside of her work, Kelsey loves being with her son Cass, spending time with their dogs, and caring for a home filled with plants—finding balance in the same steady, intentional way she brings into her work each day.

Jeffrey Cook BA
High Acuity Support & Stabilization Specialist

Jeffrey brings a strong, steady presence into high-acuity situations—particularly where structure, accountability, and consistency are essential. His background includes managing multiple sober living homes in the Twin Cities, where he oversaw day-to-day operations and supported dozens of individuals working toward stability in their lives.

He has been deeply involved in the recovery community for years, both locally and nationally, and continues to show up in that space with consistency and purpose. His work has included intervention support, coaching, and companion-level care, often stepping into situations where intensity is high and direction is needed.

Jeffrey leads by example. He does not ask anything of someone that he hasn’t lived himself, and that approach carries into every interaction he has with individuals and families. He brings care, empathy, and a level of presence that helps people feel seen and understood—while still holding a clear line around structure and accountability.

He works particularly well within complex family dynamics and high-acuity cases, where consistency and routine can make a meaningful difference. His ability to connect with young adults, especially those navigating early recovery, allows him to meet people in a way that feels relatable and real.

This work is deeply personal to Jeffrey. He approaches each case with the perspective of both the individual struggling and the family trying to help—grounding his work in compassion, respect, and a genuine understanding of what’s at stake.

Outside of his work, Jeffrey remains active in sports and the recovery community. A former collegiate baseball player who also spent time in independent league play, he still competes and helps organize sober athletic leagues locally. He’s also an animal lover through and through—especially when it comes to his two cats, who tend to steal the show.

Charly Huston
High Acuity Support & Stabilization Specialist

Charly brings a thoughtful, steady presence into complex situations—particularly where mental health and substance use intersect. His background spans a wide range of industries, including business consulting, finance, and high-pressure technical environments, giving him a unique ability to stay grounded while navigating moving parts that can feel overwhelming to others.

His path into this work is also personal. With lived experience in both mental health challenges and substance use—including time in inpatient care—Charly brings a level of understanding that goes beyond surface-level support.

He approaches each situation with deep empathy and a calm, pragmatic mindset. Charly takes the time to understand both the individual and the family—looking beyond what’s being said to recognize what’s actually needed. His style is adaptable and grounded, meeting people where they are while helping build momentum toward meaningful change.

He works naturally within high-acuity situations, complex family dynamics, and cases involving co-occurring challenges. His ability to stay steady while coordinating multiple moving parts allows him to support both immediate stabilization and longer-term direction.

This work matters to Charly on a personal level. He brings both lived experience and a disciplined, problem-solving mindset—allowing him to navigate difficult situations without becoming reactive, while still staying fully present with the people involved.

Originally from Chicago, Charly still considers it home, while also spending time in Minnesota. Outside of his work, he enjoys reading, exploring interests in finance and culture, and traveling—often seeking out new experiences and places that offer something a little different.
